Leftist outlets that built their careers on “covering” AWD — like Popular Front — are now claiming the group’s return, based solely on a 15-second video with a nuclear symbol watermark.
The video first appeared via War Noir, a far-left-sympathetic media outlet. Likely scenario: Popular Front (Jake Hanrahan) received the clip privately (Signal group, investor-bound), couldn’t publish it directly, and handed it off to War Noir. Same circle, same coordination.
There’s no verification. Anyone with a rifle, phone, and some “tactical gear” can fake this in minutes. But because Popular Front says it’s AWD, it becomes “real.”
I’ve spoken to people in AWD, NSO, and The Base. None trust Hanrahan or his peers. They’re paranoid for good reason. This looks like an op — or someone trolling them knowing they’ll amplify it.
Remember who profits. They build careers and funding streams off your risk. Hope Not Hate, Nick Lowles — same pattern since the C18 days. Professional antifascists monetizing extremism while pretending to oppose it.
