ABOUT

I’m Kian Tveitan. I work under the brand name kianlayer0.

The practice began in 2021 with a multi-year investigation into the Order of Nine Angles, a nihilistic violent extremist and accelerationist network with documented ideological influence on far-right terrorism in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, and Australia. That work was conducted primarily on YouTube and culminated in a direct 2023 interview with David Myatt, the network’s founding ideologue. The methodology developed during that period — primary-source access into closed networks, framework analysis applied to extremist legitimacy structures, careful editorial separation between documentation and endorsement — is the foundation of everything I do now.

Subsequent investigative work expanded to cover Atomwaffen Division and the wider accelerationist landscape, contemporary nihilistic violent extremism, and the international surveillance industry. From 2023 onward the focus has progressively shifted toward armed conflict and war crime documentation in Africa, where my background — Serbian diaspora heritage, network access into Russian and Eastern European private military company circles, working knowledge of the Sahel — provides primary-source reporting capability that mainstream Western journalism does not have.

The current focus of the practice is war crime documentation in northern Mali, Sudan, Burkina Faso, and the operations of Russian private military formations across the Sahel, alongside continuing work on the surveillance industry. Investigations are structured to meet the documentation standards required for potential submission to the International Criminal Court Office of the Prosecutor and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. The framework is set out in detail on the Methodology page.

The work has been deplatformed, debanked, and subject to coordinated reporting campaigns at various points over the past four years. None of those events reflected the substance of the work. None of them stopped it. The practice continues.
